All this reviewer can say is WOW! Ms. Lagana will literally keep the reader enthralled and at the edge of their seats as they read the first in this magnificent series. Each page will deliver another twist and turn that will have the reader either cringing in horror or gasping as they cheer on Jonathon. She writes with much flair and drama that ensnares the reader and keeps them glued to the pages. Each page is like a new painting and will kept this reviewer totally captivated. Her characters are multidimensional and literally step off the page to tell their story and the coming battle. The main characters, Miriam and Jonathon are very complex and also innocent of the powers they hold inside. True evil finds them but in the coming battle, much is lost as well as gained for this family. They literally worm their way into the reader’s heart and you will laugh, cry and be amazed at the power of their emotions as you get drawn into the story. The evil in this story literally made this reviewer’s skin crawl as Black and White continues. It was a testament at how powerful this author is in her writing. This is truly one of the best horror/suspense novels around and as the last page was read, this reviewer wanted to know what happens next in this mesmerizing story and characters. With Black and White Comes the Grey is one of the best books around and if you truly like a suspenseful story with hints of horror in them, then this is truly the book for you. Ms. Lagana is a masterful storyteller that will tear the reader’s heart out and deliver it on a silver platter! All this reviewer can say is don’t read it in the dark! loose until the dramatic climax, which left me with my jaw hanging in awe!
Following a string of romances and ‘happy ever afters’, I was looking for
something different… boy did this one ever deliver! This is not a pretty
tale of love and happiness. It is the story of the endless struggle between
good and evil, and the chosen ones who carry out the battle while the future
of mankind hangs in the balance. It is also a story of love and the power
it's force can create in life. This tale made me tense and nervous, at times
even had me biting my nails in anticipation of what was to come. In other
words everything you want in a good horror tale…this story delivers! I will
